Kiviniityn Kotieläinpuisto

Kiviniityn Kotieläinpuisto is a family-friendly summer destination in Sastamala, Finland, where visitors can enjoy animals, outdoor activities and a relaxed day out. Opened to the public in 1997, the park grew from a sheep farm into a diverse animal park now run by the farm’s second generation. It is home to more than 30 animal species, including familiar Finnish farm animals as well as ostriches, mouflons, llamas and alpacas. Along an easy-to-follow route of about one kilometre, guests can meet the animals up close, pet sheep and feed rabbits and guinea pigs dandelion leaves.

The park also offers activities for different ages, including pony rides, a playground with a zip line, electric mini-quads, trampolines, bouncy castles, a nature trail and Taikametsä. Visitors can bring their own food or use the terrace café and kiosk, and several equipped barbecue shelters are available. Handcarts can be borrowed for carrying picnic supplies and belongings. Kiviniityn provides a welcoming setting for families and groups to combine outdoor fun with animal encounters.
