Kivisi

Kivisi is an organization dedicated to supporting couples navigating a spouse’s cancer journey. It focuses on a gap in care: while patients and families may have support, couples can be left to manage the emotional and practical strain of illness largely on their own. Kivisi’s mission is to ensure that no couple faces cancer alone, helping partners find support, hope, and connection through a difficult period.

The organization offers gentle guidance, free resources, and a compassionate community, including access to a cancer survivor as a personal coach. Its services include retreats and Shabbatons, social events, couple vacations, post-chemotherapy support, a hotline, family therapy, employment assistance, and case management. These programs provide opportunities for couples and spouses to relax, share experiences, and receive practical help, both during treatment and as they adjust afterward. Kivisi also recognizes the challenges of returning to everyday life after cancer and aims to offer continued guidance through that transition. Donations help support its work with couples affected by cancer.
