Kreisjägerschaft Eckernförde e. V. is a regional hunting association serving the Eckernförde area of Schleswig-Holstein. Its activities bring together local hunting groups, known as Hegeringe, and support members through education, practical training, events, and information. The association offers young hunter training and preparation courses, as well as continuing education for hunters, including first-aid instruction and a reloading course. Members can use the Baumgarten shooting range and take part in scheduled shooting activities.

Wildlife and nature-related services are also an important part of its work. The association provides guidance on injured or orphaned wild animals and seals, shares information on hunting law and wildlife diseases, and connects people with hunting protection and nature conservation contacts. Its programs include hunting-dog training and examinations, tracking teams, and the Lernort Natur nature-education initiative. Local groups organize meetings, hunts, reports, and community activities, while hunting horn ensembles contribute to regional events and competitions. The website publishes association news, calendars, meeting records, downloads, and contact information for members and the public.
