KKF Segling

Karlstad Sailing Association (Karlstads Kappseglingsförening, or KKF) is one of Karlstad’s oldest sports associations. Founded in 1905 as Karlstads Kanotförening, it promotes sailing for children, young people and adults. The association offers sailing education, organized courses, training groups and competitions, alongside opportunities for members to sail informally according to their boat type and interests. Its activities range from youth and adult sailing to training for Optimist and ILCA sailors. KKF welcomes people pursuing competitive sailing as well as those who simply enjoy recreational sailing, with an emphasis on enjoyment and a positive club community.

The association organizes events and regattas, including Sola Cup, and provides information and arrangements for activities such as boat storage and berthing. Its facilities include the Kanikenäset site, a clubhouse, workshop and facilities at Torsholmen. Members and visitors can find activity bookings, event details, sailing news and information about membership through the association’s website. KKF combines instruction, sport and community to make sailing accessible across ages and levels of experience.
