Jens Reichelt

Kampfkunstschule Chiron e. V. is a martial arts school in Potsdam, led by head trainer Jens Reichelt. The school offers structured training for adults and children, emphasizing technical development, personal instruction, and practical movement rather than rigid style patterns. Its programs cover four areas: stand-up techniques, ground fighting, weapons, and age-specific children’s classes.

Stand-up training draws on Jeet Kune Do, Panantukan, Kung Fu, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Savate, with practice in strikes, kicks, grappling, and throws. Ground training focuses on grappling, escapes, joint locks, and submission techniques. Weapons classes teach single and double stick and knife methods rooted in Filipino martial arts such as Arnis, Kali, and Escrima, alongside tactics involving everyday objects. Children’s groups build coordination and falling skills while introducing martial arts fundamentals.

Adults can attend stand, ground, and weapons classes, while children train in separate groups for ages approximately six to eleven and eleven and older. Chiron also hosts specialist seminars throughout the year and invites prospective members to book a free trial session.
