KKS-Xanten

KKS-Xanten e.V. is a sports shooting club based in Xanten, Germany, welcoming people interested in learning and practising shooting sports. The club offers introductory trial training and supervised groups covering a broad range of disciplines, including precision pistol and revolver, IPSC, multi-distance shooting, falling plates, clay target shooting, long-range rifle, and timed shooting with handguns and rifles. Its members are involved in the German Shooting Association, the Rhineland Shooting Association, the Federation of German Shooters, and the German Benchrest Association, supporting access to disciplines approved for shooting in Germany.

The club’s shooting range accommodates dynamic shooting from six metres and has a maximum usable distance of 50 metres, with a stated energy limit of 7,000 joules. Members can use a selection of 17 club firearms—10 handguns and seven long guns—and ammunition is available for training with these weapons. The club also provides group leadership, range-use information, an online shooting log, news, and membership options. After a year as a club member, participants may have the opportunity to become range members.
