Klar Scene presents the work of Lisbeth Weitemeyer, a Danish speaker and author whose lectures and books bring history and literature to life. Weitemeyer describes herself as an energetic, well-prepared and experienced presenter, offering talks that combine research, storytelling and vivid visual material. Her subjects include Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf, the history and customs of Christmas, and the witch trials of seventeenth-century Denmark.
She also explores the dramatic lives of Corfitz Ulfeldt and Leonora Christina, the focus of her historical novel Ulvejagt. Other lecture themes include travelling in the footsteps of history, drawing on journeys undertaken as part of her research. Presentations typically run for two 45-minute sessions and may use a microphone, projector, books and historical props.
The site also features her publications, including Ulvejagt and titles such as Troskab, Troskab bind 2 and Skyldig, as well as biographical information, a gallery and event listings. Through lectures and writing, Klar Scene offers audiences an engaging way to encounter Danish and Nordic history, notable figures and cultural traditions
