Klatrat

Klatrat is an association of students and graduates of the Faculty of Chemistry at Warsaw University of Technology. It develops educational and science outreach opportunities for young people, introducing participants to chemistry through practical workshops, laboratory activities, research experiences, and science-focused events. Its programs include the Young Chemist School, an intensive series of laboratory workshops for young people interested in chemistry, and Open Lab projects offering chemistry education and workshops at the university.

The association also organizes summer and winter academic science camps for young people from across Poland, combining scientific learning with recreation. Other initiatives include holiday chemistry workshops for children, online chemistry classes, and research internships that give talented secondary-school students the opportunity to conduct chemistry research. Klatrat also offers educational activities for young people from Ukraine, including a free educational project and a language camp.

In addition, its Science POP workshops bring popular science to secondary-school students, while Meetings with Industry connect the Faculty of Chemistry’s academic community with industry through knowledge exchange, research and development projects, and partnerships
