Kayode Alabi Leadership and Career Initiative (KLCI) is a youth-led nonprofit organization based in Nigeria. We are dedicated to addressing the learning deficiencies and lack of opportunities faced by children born in underserved communities. Our mission is to reduce inequalities by helping underserved young people develop essential life skills and forge a trajectory for their careers.
At KLCI, we utilize alternative education methods such as Education for Sustainable Development programs, Global Citizenship Education Workshops, Mentorship, and Advocacy. Through these initiatives, we provide secondary school students in underserved communities with the necessary training and support to succeed in the workforce and transform their communities. In addition to our educational programs, we offer scholarship opportunities and educational support for at-risk students and out-of-school children.
We collaborate with schools in low-income areas and leverage technology to reach young people between the ages of 15 and 35, providing them with leadership and career development training. By prioritizing rural education and empowering young leaders, KLCI aims to create a future where underserved communities have equal access to quality education, entrepreneurship, and job opportunities.
