Kłębek Animal Aid Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Poznań, Poland, dedicated primarily to helping homeless, free-roaming and urban cats. The foundation rescues and cares for cats affected by illness, abuse and the challenges of surviving on the streets. It provides professional care, including treatment, feeding and other necessary support, and currently looks after more than 120 cats seeking homes.
A central part of Kłębek’s work is finding cats loving, permanent families. Its website introduces cats available for adoption and explains the adoption process, including an application questionnaire. The foundation also supports temporary foster homes, offering guidance and arranging care individually with each foster family. To help manage the population of free-roaming cats, Kłębek organizes sterilization efforts.
People can support its mission through financial or in-kind donations, volunteering, virtual adoption, fostering, or by donating 1.5% of their tax. Kłębek relies on private donations to cover rent, bills, food, litter and veterinary treatment. It also provides educational information and shares updates about its cats and animal welfare work.
