Kleinen Akademie

Kleine Akademie is a platform for equestrian art, historical fencing, and research, welcoming people of all ages and experience levels, including complete beginners. Its work centers on classical and academic riding principles, offered through lessons with the instructor’s horses and practical driving instruction at clients’ own yards. The academy also provides horse-assisted coaching focused on leadership and personal development. The instructor is a trained educator and offers individual, step-by-step guidance.

Alongside riding tuition, Kleine Akademie organizes courses and talks on equestrian art, as well as training and demonstrations in Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and mounted fencing. Its research and presentations explore the history of riding and the academy’s projects. These include museum-related work and 13th-century historical reenactment with the group Gefolge Tannenfels. The academy invites enquiries and ideas, and its website provides information about services, events, qualifications, horses, research, and student experiences. Its broad program brings together practical learning, historical inquiry, and opportunities to encounter horses and martial arts in an accessible setting.
