Kleintierzüchtervereins Wolfschlugen

Kleintierzüchterverein Z198 Wolfschlugen is a German small-animal breeders’ association dedicated to sharing information about small-animal breeding and supporting the community’s breeding activities. Based in Wolfschlugen, the club maintains a shared breeding facility that showcases a variety of breeds and promotes clean, species-appropriate animal care. Its website introduces the association and provides updates on its work, events, and role in preserving animal breeds.

The club also contributes to wider discussions about genetic resources and the conservation of rare and endangered domestic-animal breeds. In September 2024, it hosted a national working-group meeting on small-animal genetic resources, bringing together representatives of breeding associations, research institutions, and public bodies. Visitors praised the facility, its breed diversity, and its standards of care. The association’s activities include welcoming guests and participating in local exhibitions, where it recognizes achievements with awards. Through its facilities and community involvement, Kleintierzüchterverein Z198 Wolfschlugen helps sustain small-animal breeding traditions and raises awareness of the importance of genetic diversity.
