Kleistudio Elv is a ceramics studio in the heart of Leiden, located in the historic Leidse Volkshuis. Founded by Stefanie, it offers a welcoming space where people can slow down, work with clay and explore their creativity in a calm, nature-inspired setting. Beginners and experienced makers alike can learn at their own pace, with guidance and encouragement to experiment and create something personal.

The studio’s offerings include ceramics courses, introductory workshops, themed workshops and creative day retreats. Visitors can make items such as vases, bowls and other unique works, while regular courses provide an opportunity to develop skills over time. Special experiences combine pottery with activities such as forest bathing, and the studio also hosts groups and events and offers bespoke art. Participants leave with a tangible piece they have made themselves, as well as time set aside for mindful, hands-on creativity. Kleistudio Elv presents clay work not only as a craft to learn, but also as a way to pause, reconnect with the senses and enjoy making in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
