Kletterwald Grünheide is an outdoor adventure destination on the north shore of Werlsee in Grünheide, Brandenburg, near Berlin. Set beside a public bathing beach, it combines tree-top climbing with opportunities to swim, relax and enjoy the lakeside setting. The site has six climbing courses, ranging from a route for very young children to more challenging climbs reaching 18 metres. Visitors can explore the courses with climbing equipment provided for a three-hour period, using the CLiC-iT® safety system.
The experience is designed for individuals, families and groups. Kletterwald Grünheide offers visits and programmes for companies and clubs, school classes, and children’s birthday celebrations, including a dedicated climbing trainer for birthday groups. After climbing, guests can unwind at the adjacent beach bar, which serves snacks, coffee, cocktails and ice cream. The venue also provides free parking nearby and accepts several payment methods, including cards and mobile payments. Its stated aim includes helping visitors appreciate the local forest, beach environment and outdoor activity. The 2026 season at the Werlsee site has ended.
