Klimatoolbox

The KlimaTOOLBOX GmbH provides the KLIMATOOLBOX (KTBX), a practical resource designed to help municipalities plan and implement climate protection measures effectively and sustainably. Its materials are developed by experts, professionally reviewed, and adapted to regional needs. The toolbox brings together project ideas, working resources, digital support, and progress tracking to help local teams turn climate goals into action.

The project pool includes initiatives ranging from public awareness campaigns and activities for kindergartens and schools to strategic measures for decision-makers. Users can access reviewed checklists, text templates, and other materials for planning, delivery, and communication. AI-supported assistants can suggest projects, help identify funding opportunities, and explain legal requirements. Monitoring tools enable municipalities to document progress, demonstrate results, and manage projects. Work can be carried out independently or with professional guidance, for example from energy agencies.

Featured examples include climate workshops for community groups and businesses, guidance on sustainable procurement, energy education for preschool children, and household energy-saving campaigns. KlimaTOOLBOX is based in Rutesheim, Germany, and offers free, non-binding registration.
