Kloster Reute is the home of the Franciscan Sisters of Reute, a community of women inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the example of Francis of Assisi, daily prayer and life together. Based in Bad Waldsee, Germany, the community welcomes visitors to learn about Franciscan spirituality and its history, explore opportunities to experience convent life, and take part in spiritual programs at the monastery’s spiritual centre. Guests can enjoy Franciscan hospitality, cultural and recreational activities, guided tours and the monastery garden. The site is also a place of pilgrimage associated with Blessed Gute Beth.

Kloster Reute offers activities for children, young people and adults, including retreats, pilgrimages and opportunities to live in the community. Its work includes a monastery shop, a bakery supplying fresh baked goods on Thursdays and Fridays, a bakery for communion wafers, and beekeeping. The sisters also share information about their mission, projects in Brazil and Indonesia, and ways to support their work. Through these offerings, Kloster Reute brings together faith, hospitality, community life and service.
