Kloster Kappel is a seminar hotel and educational centre in Kappel am Albis, Canton of Zurich, where 800 years of history meet modern hospitality. Set in the former Cistercian abbey amid a pre-Alpine landscape between Zurich and Zug, it welcomes visitors for conferences, spiritual retreats, courses, celebrations and cultural events. The hotel offers 76 rooms and 18 seminar rooms, with facilities for meetings and group gatherings. Guests can also stay in other accommodation, dine on food featuring produce from the monastery gardens and local suppliers, or enjoy the Klostercafé, Abtkeller, garden terrace and wine cellar.

The centre’s programme includes weekend courses on spirituality, creativity and life questions, as well as music, exhibitions, guided tours and monastery days. Visitors can take part in services, daily prayers, pastoral care and activities designed for reflection and renewal. Seminar packages, group-room options and excursions in the surrounding area support event planning, while the historic church, gardens and buildings provide distinctive settings for learning, relaxation and shared experiences.
