About KloudNS
KloudNS is an independent edge network operator providing managed authoritative DNS, reverse proxy, and web protection services. Its platform helps customers keep origin servers out of public DNS while routing and filtering web traffic through edge locations in more than 30 countries. Services are configured per hostname through a control panel, with features enabled or disabled by the customer.
DNS hosting supports common record types, per-record TTLs, and optional DNSSEC with keys managed by KloudNS. Its reverse proxy includes automatic TLS certificate issuance and renewal, HTTPS redirection, and support for HTTP/2 and HTTP/3. Edge protection includes a web application firewall using the OWASP Core Rule Set, bot handling, per-hostname rate limits, and filtering based on public reputation feeds. Static assets can also be cached at the edge.
KloudNS reviews applications individually rather than offering self-service registration. It also provides migration guidance, customer support, and a process for handling abuse, copyright, and security reports, which are reviewed by staff.
