Klub Pirania

Pirania Wrocław is a longstanding Polish diving club founded in 1969 and based in Wrocław. Run as an association, it brings together people of different ages around a shared interest in diving, underwater exploration and club life. The club trains divers through the NAUI, CMAS, PADI and SSI systems, offering introductory sessions, beginner courses, advanced and intermediate qualifications, and specialist training. Its activities include courses and pool sessions for adults, students, children and young people, with new training groups announced for 2026.

For younger participants, Pirania runs the “Safe Fun by the Water” programme, combining diving and swimming with basic rescue elements and supervised pool activities. The club also operates an underwater hockey section, established in 2012. This fast-paced team sport blends hockey, swimming and freediving, and the club welcomes children and young people to try it. Pirania takes part in underwater hockey tournaments and organises diving-related activities and trips.
