KMSW

KMSW (Krav Maga Alsace) is a self-defence club serving communities across Alsace and nearby areas. It offers Krav Maga training for children, adults and older participants, with classes available throughout the week at more than eight locations. The club also provides private lessons, online courses, workshops and events, and promotes a free trial for prospective members.

Krav Maga, meaning “close combat” in Hebrew, emphasizes simple, practical and effective responses to threatening situations. KMSW’s training covers reactions to surprise attacks, unarmed and armed assaults, holds, verbal aggression, protecting another person, and facing one or more attackers. Sessions can include realistic, stress-based scenarios and aim to develop confidence and skills for managing stress and emotions.

The club says its instructors continue their professional development through training and events with international experts. KMSW describes itself as a multiple French and world champion club, and also offers an application for members. Classes take place in venues including Westhalten, Biesheim, Holtzwihr, Bollwiller, Wittenheim, Vieux-Thann and Valdoie.
