KMGRU is a Brazilian Krav Maga school focused on practical self-defense training and the continued development of its students. Established in 2003, it presents itself as a reference for Krav Maga instruction in Brazil and states that it is licensed by the KMW World Organization, with certification in Israel and the United States. The school teaches the self-defense system created by Grand Master Imi Lichtenfeld, emphasizing respect for his legacy and the principle of avoiding conflict when possible.
KMGRU offers classes, personalized training groups, and ongoing learning through courses, seminars, events, and level examinations. Its programs include instructor training and opportunities to find training locations, while partnerships and in-company services extend its work to organizations. The school also provides educational resources, including a physical and digital book, and shares photos, videos, and other material through KMGRU TV and its online channels. Based in Guarulhos, São Paulo, KMGRU highlights instructor Gilson Santos and promotes initiatives such as training tours and programs encouraging women’s strength and self-defense.
