King Mechanical Services (KMS), also known as King Mechanical Services (Tuam) Ltd, provides equipment inspection, certification, sales and repair services across Ireland. For more than 30 years, the company has supported businesses in a wide range of industries with inspections conducted to meet health and safety regulations. Its engineers are highly qualified and experienced, with training from LEEA and Lloyds British Lifting.

KMS inspects plant machinery such as excavators, forklifts, dumpers and mobile elevating work platforms, as well as lifting equipment including slings, shackles, chains, hoists, harnesses and lashing equipment. Its inspection scope also includes truck-mounted cranes, ladders, marine equipment, drilling rigs and fall-arrest systems. The company reports inspecting more than 20,000 items annually for over 1,000 clients.

To help customers manage compliance, KMS provides online access to GA1 certificates through its CoreRfid CertPortal, with searchable records, an asset register and expiry notifications. The company also sells lifting equipment through its Galway store and online shop, and offers on-site supply and repairs, including repairs to chain hooks and collection of items for workshop repair.
