KNB Art Advisory helps individuals and organizations find art that offers both aesthetic appeal and personal meaning. Founded by Katharine N. Brooks, the advisory works with first-time buyers, established collectors, interior designers, businesses, and institutions, supporting clients as they begin a collection or thoughtfully add to a personal or corporate one.
Its services include art acquisition and advisory, visits to art fairs, auctions, galleries, and artist studios, as well as framing, shipping, installation partnerships, collection management, and art deaccession. Katharine brings extensive art-world experience, having begun her career in New York at Sotheby’s and Christie’s and later serving as a Latin American Art Specialist at Christie’s. She helps clients navigate the art market, from discovering work by local artists and galleries to securing investment-level masterpieces from around the world.
KNB Art Advisory serves clients in person in Charlottesville and Nantucket and consults with clients worldwide. The practice emphasizes a personal, informed approach to living with art
