Knell Design Build

Knell Design Build provides professional building design services for residential projects in Bulverde, Texas, and surrounding areas. The company helps homeowners turn ideas for new homes, remodels, additions, pools, and outdoor spaces into clear construction plans and realistic 3D visualizations. Its process begins with understanding the client’s goals, project style, and budget, then assessing the site and relevant development requirements. Site documentation may include survey boundaries, setbacks, LiDAR elevation contours, and aerial imagery. For remodeling work, the team can conduct an as-built survey using a Leica BLK360 LiDAR scanner.

Knell Design Build develops preliminary blueprints and 3D video walkthroughs, then refines the plans and provides a final visualization. Its design approach emphasizes precision, practical layouts, aesthetic appeal, and considerations such as drainage, sunlight, privacy, and spatial flow. The company also offers support after the design phase. Led by professional building designer and technical site analyst Doug Knell, the firm draws on experience in construction, site planning, and residential design to help clients and builders understand a project before construction begins.
