Guided by its elected Tribal Council, the Tribe works to support self-determination, cultural awareness, better living conditions, and community prosperity. Its mission and programs reflect traditional values such as honoring elders, respecting others, caring for the community, sharing, and working hard, while recognizing the continuing presence and stewardship of the Dena’ina Athabascan people on their traditional lands.

Knik Tribe offers services and programs across education, health, housing, social and client support, natural resources, and transportation. Its education initiatives include Knik Charter School, Benteh Early Learning Academy, and Benteh STEAM Academy; health services are associated with the Benteh Wellness Center. The Tribe also provides forms and applications, citizenship information, public notices, and community events.
