The KnittingZone is a brand that was born out of passion for knitting and a love for all things yarn-related. It all began with Mary Moran, an avid knitter, who started creating knitting software to design socks and organize her knitting stash. As the online store grew, The KnittingZone expanded its product offerings to include an extensive range of yarns and needles.

In 2004, they opened a Brick-and-Mortar store, allowing them to connect with local knitters. The brand gained further recognition when they became the North American Distributor of HiyaHiya needles in 2006. HiyaHiya needles, created by knitting enthusiast Qianer Huang and her family, quickly became a favorite among knitters.

In 2013, The KnittingZone moved to a larger location to accommodate their growing business. With a wide selection of knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarns, and accessories, The KnittingZone continues to serve the knitting community and is committed to providing quality products and exceptional service. As of 2021, The KnittingZone has been in operation for over 15 years and looks forward to many more years of serving the knitting community
