Know Your Genotype is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Sickle Cell Disease and working towards its eradication. Our mission is to inform individuals in Ghana about the disease and its inheritance pattern. We aim to empower carriers of the mutated HBB gene by helping them understand their role in preventing the transmission of the disease to future generations.

Through year-round educational talks, street marches, art, and social media, we strive to educate the community about Sickle Cell Disease. We also offer screenings for the mutated HBB gene at either free or highly subsidized rates. Additionally, we provide counseling services to carriers, emphasizing the power they possess in eliminating the disease.
