Knoxville Youth Athletics is a youth sports organization serving approximately 10,000 children ages 5–18 across an 11-county area. It provides a supportive starting point for young athletes to explore track and field and distance running, with offerings ranging from developmental activities to competitive teams. Its programs include indoor and outdoor track and field, summer training, cross country, and an eight-week elementary and middle school cross-country program for girls and boys in grades 3–8.

Participants can learn the fundamentals of distance running and take part in weekly competitions, with opportunities to qualify for Tennessee state championships. The organization welcomes young runners whether or not their school has a team, including homeschooled children and those who simply enjoy running. Knoxville Youth Athletics also organizes meets, championships, time trials, fun runs, and road races for school and community athletes.

Its calendar features events for elementary, middle school, and high school competitors. In addition to programs and events, the organization provides registration, results, event management, and opportunities for officials, volunteers, and sponsors to support youth athletics
