Kazakhstan's Atomic Electric Stations (KAES) is a pioneering organization dedicated to the development and construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan. Established in 2014, KAES is a subsidiary of the national welfare fund, Samruk-Kazyna, tasked with laying the groundwork for the country's nuclear energy strategy. Their core services encompass project design and pre-design documentation for new atomic power plants, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and technical consultations within the nuclear industry.

KAES actively engages in research and experimental development for the peaceful use of atomic energy, while also overseeing the readiness of the energy sector to manage load regulation and electricity reserves. The organization emphasizes transparency and community involvement, hosting public discussions and educational meetings across various regions, including Shymkent and Turkestan, to address the potential impacts and benefits of nuclear energy. As Kazakhstan strides toward a sustainable energy future, KAES remains at the forefront, driving innovation in nuclear power and infrastructure development across the nation.
