Welcome to the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA), a brand dedicated to coordinating and harmonizing education, training, assessment, and quality assurance of qualifications in Kenya. We aim to improve quality and international comparability in the education sector. Our flagship product is the Kenya National Qualification Framework (KNQF), a comprehensive database of all qualifications in the country.

This framework allows for comparability and information sharing globally. We work closely with various education sectors, such as basic, TVET, and university sectors, to bring harmony and coordination. KNQA offers a range of services, including alignment and validation of qualifications, registration of qualifications, recognition of prior learning, and certificate of qualifications equivalence for foreign qualifications.

We also facilitate credit accumulation and transfer within the education system. We have developed an online portal called the QAV Portal for convenient applications and processing of national and foreign qualifications. Through this portal, applicants can create their profiles, upload documents, and make payments.
