Knurrebog Rideklub

Knurreborg Icelandic Horse Club (KIK) is a member-run riding club in Nyborg, Denmark, dedicated to providing a welcoming place for Icelandic horses and their owners. The club leases its grounds from Nyborg Municipality and can accommodate up to 26 stabled horses. Its facilities include stables, an indoor riding hall, an oval track, a dressage arena, a clubhouse and adjoining land.

KIK offers horse boarding, with each rented box accompanied by designated storage for equipment and feed, space for a saddle cabinet, and a shared pasture arrangement. Owners are responsible for their horse’s feeding and care in coordination with fellow pasture users. The club also arranges weekly outings with its horses and holds social events throughout the year, including group rides, a summer party and a Christmas gathering.

As a community association, KIK relies on members to help maintain its buildings and grounds, with shared duties organized through workdays and rotations. The club emphasizes consideration, good stable relations and responsible care.
