The Athens State Orchestra is a Greek cultural organisation dedicated to presenting orchestral music and engaging audiences through concerts and educational activities. Its programme includes symphonic performances, opera, chamber music, family concerts and events outside its regular venues. Concert listings feature works by composers such as Gershwin, Liszt, Brahms and Gustav Mahler, alongside performances by guest artists and conductors. The orchestra provides programme information, ticket details and an archive search to help audiences explore upcoming and past events.

Beyond the concert stage, the organisation supports music education and wider participation through initiatives such as its Young Musicians Academy, open rehearsals, introductory talks and activities for school classes. Its outreach also includes a brass workshop, ongoing chamber music seminars and a pilot contemporary music workshop. Additional projects and partnerships connect the orchestra with universities, communities and cultural events, including programmes in the South Aegean. The Athens State Orchestra’s website shares news, performance schedules and information about its artistic leadership, musicians and activities, making it a central resource for audiences and supporters of the orchestra.
