Koala Children’s Academy is a childcare and early-learning center focused on providing children and families with a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Its mission emphasizes bilingualism, cultural understanding, kindness, empathy, respect, and lifelong learning. The academy offers a free New Mexico PreK program for eligible children ages three to five, using a research-based curriculum to help prepare them for kindergarten. The bilingual program supports learning in English and Spanish and operates Monday through Friday, with before- and after-care also available.

Educators create weekly lesson plans tailored to children’s needs, using intentional play and hands-on activities to support development. They observe children, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families through teacher conferences. The academy also provides classroom and facility tours, family forms, events, and enrollment information. Its trained, bilingual educators are supported by an administration committed to quality care. Fresh, made-from-scratch meals are prepared by a full-time professional cook and include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
