Koala Rescue Redlands

Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds Inc. is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting koalas in the Redlands region of Queensland and surrounding suburbs. Its volunteer team responds around the clock to reports of sick, injured, or displaced koalas, offering a 24/7 emergency hotline for community members who need help. The organisation’s work supports each animal’s journey toward recovery while contributing to the protection of local koala populations.

Alongside rescue and rehabilitation, the charity promotes community education and habitat protection. It shares guidance on recognising signs of koala illness, living safely alongside koalas, and helping wildlife at home. Community members can report a koala sighting, learn about conservation, support the organisation’s work, or donate; donations over $2 are tax deductible. The group also provides updates on rescues and practical safety messages, including reminders to drive carefully and check vehicles for koalas. Through volunteer service, public engagement, and support for habitat protection, Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds Inc. works to safeguard koalas across its local service area.
