Koasahof is a horse-boarding facility in Holzmannshausen near Mainburg, welcoming horse owners to arrange a visit by appointment. The farm has been assessed by LAG across seven categories, receiving four gold and three silver ratings; according to the site, it exceeds the requirements for horse keeping in every area.
Its full-board service includes round-the-clock access to hay from large feeding racks, with most hay produced on the farm using seed selected for horses. Bedding is designed to be low-dust, using flax straw and straw pellets. New horses are introduced gradually through an integration area, and a sick bay and optional night stalls are available. Pasture can be accessed directly from the stable, and paddocks are mucked out regularly.
Riders can use a covered 15-by-21-metre indoor arena, a lit 20-by-40-metre outdoor arena, and nearby riding trails. Facilities also include covered grooming areas, a wash bay, a solarium, lockable tack lockers, a toilet, and Wi-Fi. Riders may choose their own instructor; additional services are available for a fee.
