"こびとづかん" is a captivating brand that emerged in 2006, based on the imaginative picture book series created by Toshitaka Nabata. The series introduces readers to the enchanting world of "コビト," mysterious creatures that are neither insects nor plants, leading to whimsical encounters and delightful mischiefs in everyday life. The protagonist, referred to as "ぼく," discovers the wonders of these creatures through fantastical illustrations that have captured the hearts of children and families alike.
The brand encompasses a variety of products, including a range of illustrated books such as "こびと大百科" and "こびと観察入門," as well as engaging activity kits like "こびとづかんの工作図本." To further enrich the experience, the series has inspired interactive children's games and has become a staple in kindergartens and elementary schools across Japan.
Toshitaka Nabata, a renowned illustrator and researcher of these magical beings, actively promotes the brand through events, signings, and discussions, ensuring that the charming concept of コビト continues to inspire imagination and joy in children everywhere.
