Kobukan Karate Club is a friendly, established martial arts club based in Windsor, England. Founded in 1973 by Kyoshi Roger Carpenter, the club teaches traditional Shotokan Karate in the lineage of Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa and Kancho Nobuaki Kanazawa. Its chief instructor is Sensei Clive Young, with Sensei Tyrone Stodart serving as assistant instructor. Kyoshi Carpenter, Chief Instructor of the SKKIF, oversees the organisation in the UK and visits clubs twice a year to support consistent training standards.
