Kočičí azyl Znojemsko is a small, independent cat sanctuary in the Znojmo region, offering vulnerable cats a second chance. Based in a private home and run by one person alongside other work, the sanctuary cares especially for cats with disabilities after road accidents or serious injuries, cats with chronic illnesses, and those no longer wanted. Its work includes arranging veterinary care, rescuing and feeding cats, and organizing sterilization for strays.
The sanctuary also seeks loving homes for kittens and recovered cats, with options to adopt in person or support a cat through remote adoption. Visitors are welcome by prior telephone arrangement, as there are no fixed opening hours and care needs can make unannounced visits difficult. The sanctuary operates using personal funds and donations.
Contributions to its transparent account help cover veterinary expenses and cat sterilizations. Its website features adoption information, updates about found and missing cats, articles, and ways to help, while its Facebook page shares more frequent photos, rescue stories, videos, and current adoption listings
