Sportschule Kodokan Berlin is a martial arts and fitness school based in Berlin-Britz, in the Neukölln district. Teaching since 2000, it offers training for children, teenagers and adults, combining technical development with the values of respect, self-discipline, honesty, helpfulness and friendship. Its program includes Judo, Karate, Kickboxing, Aikido and Kenjutsu, alongside Power Zirkel, yoga and personal training.
Age-appropriate options include parent-and-child Judo and Kickboxing, while self-defence seminars and courses in conflict management and violence prevention are available for schools and businesses. The school also provides senior exercise sessions and back-care training, as well as instruction for recreational and competitive athletes. Training takes place in a 240-square-metre facility, with 41 weekly classes offered across seven days.
Licensed instructors lead classes, and students can attend grading-preparation seminars. The affiliated Kodokan Berlin e. V.
supports youth development through individual training plans, events, trips and tournaments, while encouraging athletes to practise fairly, support their partners and value effort. The school is named after Judo founder Jigoro Kano and his Kodokan system
