Built using open data from OpenStreetMap, the service brings together nearly 20,000 postal codes, more than 7. 5 million addresses, and around 10,000 cities and localities. Users can look up the postal code for an address or find streets and address ranges associated with a particular code.

The database can also be browsed by postal-code prefix, with coverage spanning prefixes 00 through 99, or explored through rankings of major towns and cities by the number of listed addresses. Address and street information comes from OpenStreetMap, while postcode listings are drawn from its community-maintained data. The site notes that address-number ranges are based on available minimum and maximum numbers and are not official.

Its information is provided under the Open Database License. kody-pocztowe. com describes itself as an open, accessible resource: searches require no account, and the service says it does not collect personal data
