Koe in de Kost is a family-run farm stay in Overijssel, Netherlands, offering nature-focused holidays and an inviting experience of everyday farm life. Guests stay in comfortable, sustainable Grondulows set in the meadows among the cows. These distinctive holiday homes are designed for relaxation and do not have televisions, helping visitors enjoy the peaceful surroundings and disconnect from daily routines. Each accommodation also has its own “personal” cow.
The farm welcomes families and provides opportunities to discover rural life alongside the owners, Frans, Truus and Lenn. Activities mentioned by guests include seeing the milking process, feeding animals, collecting eggs, visiting the cowshed, and enjoying time with ponies, rabbits and other farm animals. Children can also play outdoors and ride go-karts, while families can explore the open countryside and spend time together at an unhurried pace.
Koe in de Kost also offers a setting for meetings amid the cows, presenting the farm as an inspiring venue beyond family holidays.
