KOFOOTBALL

KO|Football Academy is a youth soccer organization based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, that describes itself as the area’s only Ontario-recognized soccer academy. Its mission is to develop the person first and the player second, combining soccer instruction with an emphasis on confidence, enjoyment, and personal growth. The academy offers programs for different ages and levels, from introductory soccer to competitive play.

The Development program welcomes players aged U5–U15 without tryouts. It provides weekly sessions focused on fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and teamwork, alongside low-pressure small-sided games. For U8–U16 players seeking greater structure, the Advanced program requires tryouts and offers two weekly training sessions plus monthly matches, supporting technical and tactical development. The Competitive program is for selected U18 players, with three to four weekly training sessions, league games, and tournaments. It aims to prepare committed athletes for higher-level opportunities, including college, semi-professional, and provincial or national pathways. KO|Football also advertises camps and clinics, including a March Break high-performance camp, and shares training tips and updates through its blog and newsletter.
