About The Kohala Center
The Kohala Center is an independent, community-based nonprofit that was established in 2000. With a strong focus on research, conservation, and education, this organization is dedicated to promoting ecosystem health and sustainability. By integrating traditional knowledge and cutting-edge research, The Kohala Center works towards creating conditions that foster the well-being of communities in Hawai‘i and beyond.
