Kolba-med-Agentur is an Aachen-based placement agency connecting families across Germany with Polish caregivers for in-home support. Founded in 2006, the agency helps older adults and people needing assistance remain in their own homes, with Sabina Kolba serving as a personal contact from the initial consultation through the ongoing care arrangement. Kolba-med is a Vermittlungsagentur, not the caregivers’ employer; caregivers are employed by partner companies abroad and sent to Germany under applicable posting arrangements.
Support is tailored to each client’s needs and may include help with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals and eating, household tasks, appointments and errands. Caregivers may also provide companionship through reading, walks and cultural outings. The agency also arranges support after hospital stays and for people living with dementia, chronic conditions or limited mobility, within agreed responsibilities and boundaries.
The placement process typically involves an initial conversation, a questionnaire, a personalized proposal with candidate profiles and pricing, and a service contract with the partner company.
