KOLEATOI

Koleatoi is the practice of Karine Alves, a childcare assistant and IBCLC-certified lactation consultant who supports parents and babies with individualized, compassionate care. Drawing on professional experience since 2009 in maternity care, childcare centers and maternal and child health services, as well as her experience as a mother of two, Karine tailors her guidance to each family.

The practice offers breastfeeding consultations, babywearing workshops and infant massage sessions. Karine is trained in babywearing through the CNFPB and can adapt workshops for parents or babies with disabilities. She also has training to support families when an infant experiences gastroesophageal reflux. Her infant massage workshops, informed by training with the French Association of Infant Massage, introduce parents to nurturing touch in a calm, supportive setting. Sessions are designed to stimulate a baby’s senses, provide reassurance and encourage bonding.

Koleatoi’s approach recognizes that every parent–baby pair is unique. Families are welcome to get in touch with questions and discuss the support that best fits their needs.
