Kolej Beskidzka is an organisation focused on improving regional public transport and supporting the revitalisation of the railway line between Żywiec and Sucha Beskidzka. The project aims to better connect transport services across the southern subregion of Silesia and the western subregion of Małopolska, improve mobility for residents of Żywiecczyzna and the Sucha Beskidzka area, and help address social exclusion. It also seeks to make the Beskid Żywiecki, Beskid Makowski and Beskid Mały more accessible to visitors, while encouraging rail travel for short and medium-distance journeys to help reduce emissions.
The website announces the planned opening of the railway line in December 2026. It provides information about the organisation, its mission, reports, railway history, stations, carriers, timetables and fares. Visitors can also find bus and rail travel information, tourism updates and ticket-purchasing options, including retro tickets.
