Kolotočári is a Slovak sailing club and community founded by sailors who turned a shared interest in regattas into an active hobby and team. Established in 2014 by seven members, the group grew quickly and formed a civic association the following year. In 2018, it launched Kolotočári Sailing Club, officially registered with the Slovak Sailing Association and comprising more than thirty active sailors.
The club aims to make sailing more popular among people who have not yet tried it, bringing a sense of fun to the sport while welcoming new enthusiasts. Its name comes from the Carousel-style sailing race. Members combine competitive ambition with a friendly, sociable spirit, and describe sailing as a way to enjoy relaxation, adrenaline, new experiences, and lasting friendships.
Kolotočári participates in regattas and shares race results, event updates, and news through its website and blog. The club also invites interested people to get in touch and join its community
