Its central principle is that people should own their setup and data, choosing whether services run on hardware at home or on a rented cloud server. kombify Cloud offers a guided starting point, helping users explore ideas, choose services and manage their homelab without requiring technical expertise. For those who want more control, StackKits provides readable, changeable setup definitions and a one-command way to install a complete, secured environment.

Techstack helps configure and maintain services, with kombify Guard designed to check protections, make authorized changes and record activity. Kubi, kombify’s AI companion, helps users explore options and understand settings through Companion Studio and specialist tools. The platform supports practical uses such as organizing family photos, bringing household documents together, and hosting a personal film library.

kombify aims to make home and cloud infrastructure accessible while letting users decide what to run and how much assistance they want
