Komerin Karvatassut

Komerin Karvatassut is a family-run pet crematorium based in Mynämäki, serving Turku and the wider Varsinais-Suomi region. With more than ten years of experience, the business provides respectful cremation services for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets. Owners can bring their pet to the crematorium or arrange collection from home or a participating veterinary clinic. Cremation is available individually or collectively. With individual cremation, the pet is handled separately and the ashes are returned in an urn; ashes from collective cremations are placed at the Haanmaa burial area, which is not open to visitors.

The business offers a broad selection of urns, accepts customers’ own urns, and makes memorial plaques with requested engravings. Urns can be collected, posted or delivered to a participating veterinary clinic. The team aims to listen to each customer’s wishes and answer questions with care. The family also runs a farm, selling free-range eggs, lamb by advance order and sheepskins.
