About Ústecká komunitní nadace
Ústecká komunitní nadace is the first Czech community foundation with roots dating back to 1993, making it the second oldest foundation of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. Based in Ústí nad Labem, they support over 100 projects by non-profit organizations and individuals each year, with donations from dozens of corporations and individuals totaling over 3 million CZK. Their support primarily benefits the districts of Děčín, Litoměřice, Louny, Teplice, and Ústí nad Labem.
Their mission is to empower and uplift the community, and they achieve this by administering financial aid applications from local non-profits, informal groups, and individuals. They have helped preserve local landmarks and support initiatives in various sectors such as education, culture, and social welfare.
